Abstract
Graphs and charts are undoubtedly the most highly used features in MS Excel. There are numerous types of graphing and charting in Excel, which are illustrated in this chapter. Here, an in-depth demonstration has been provided for line chart, column chart, pie chart, gauge chart, bar chart, area chart, scatter chart, a combination of several charts, stock chart, surface chart, radar chart, Gantt chart, Pareto chart, thermometer chart, sparkline, and pivot chart. All these different types of charts are discussed in this chapter with relevant details. At the end of this chapter, some examples have been incorporated to visualize electrical engineering data. However, these are very basic and can be comprehended by anyone studying science. The examples will help attain a precise idea about using the various Excel charts in practical cases. Exercises have been included within the chapter following the topic the exercise covers. This chapter is of the intermediate level but a must-read for all those who want to master MS Excel and utilize the true potential of MS Excel.
