Abstract
This chapter discusses attempts to unpack massification, privatisation, internationalisation, and financing in the context of Indian higher education. It illustrates the impact of neoliberal forces on the higher education system in India, and provides Indian administrators and policymakers with advice on re-orienting higher education institutions in India towards the needs of learners.
