Abstract

Many primary benign and malignant soft tissue tumors can affect the skin: these neoplasms arise in the dermis or in the subcutis. The most common cutaneous soft tissue sarcomas are dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP), atypical fibroxanthoma, pleomorphic dermal sarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, Kaposi sarcoma, and angiosarcoma.
