Abstract
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is one of the most common minimally invasive surgical procedures in adults and is becoming increasingly more common in pediatric population as the prevalence of gallstone disease is increasing. This chapter touches on pre-operative considerations, but focuses on practical aspects of laparoscopic cholecystectomy and a stepwise approach on how to perform this operation safely and efficiently.
