Abstract

This paper will present the conceptual design of the micro wind turbine prototype and its performance testing. Conceptual design of the micro wind turbine was developed from the sketch idea through the 3D model and documentation. Before the testing was conducted, some dimensional parameters of the wind turbine have been analyzed and prototype of the design was built and prepared for testing. The testing was conducted in the wind tunnel thorough measurement of the most important parameters of the wind turbine. The testing has shown that this concept is capable to produce torque with the small speeds of wind and that there is a lot of space for improvement of this conceptual design.
