Abstract

PoTS presents with a number of cardiological symptoms due to an abnormality in the autonomic nerve control of the cardiovascular system. It presents commonly to cardiologists and our management system is based on assessing symptoms to recognise the condition and excluding cardiological problems. Management in our centre involves lifestyle advice, medications and a multi-disciplinary approach to the more widespread symptoms.
