Abstract

A 52-year-old female patient, with Fitzpatrick skin type III, presented with a 1-year history of an asymptomatic band of longitudinal melanonychia affecting her right index finger. Physical examination revealed a 2 mm band of longitudinal melanonychia with homogenous pigmentation in the central part of the right index finger (Fig. 10.1). Dermoscopy showed a 2 mm regular, homogenous band and the micro-Hutchinson sign (Fig. 10.2).
