Neuroimaging Techniques in Clinical Practice

Abstract

Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) is a robust imaging technique with high spatial resolution used in interventional neuroradiology on a daily basis. It is applied for diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of neurovascular diseases, including acute stroke and intracranial aneurysm treatment. This chapter describes the technical background and clinical applications of digital subtraction angiography in neuroradiology.
