Abstract
The earlier theory of multipactor discharge in a flat gap [2, 3] explains the existence of boundaries of multipacting bands, or zones. Different zones correspond to different orders of discharge. The boundaries of the zones are related either to the condition of stability or to the minimal or maximal energy when the secondary emission yield becomes equal to 1.
