Abstract
The study examines the projection of competence-based approach into the system of engineering-pedagogical staff development; and presented the design of the career enhancement programs of a new generation. It justified the transfer from the traditional structuring of subject-thematic content of pedagogical staff development to projecting a modular-competence content in the framework of the professional development model.
