Abstract

A 56 year old male is referred to the renal clinic with persistent non-visible haematuria. He is a smoker. His renal function is normal, he has no detectable proteinuria, normal coagulation and platelets, normal sized kidneys on ultrasound and his blood pressure 137/86 mmHg.
