Abstract
“Estimates” in the original work by Sun Tzu relates to the study of the intricacies of conflict and warfare. I will be equating estimates to a more holistic view of how to approach cybersecurity with a view to practical approaches and steps to be taken. The first quote in this chapter sums up nicely the importance of having a solid foundation in the basics of cybersecurity, as well as how these basics should be applied in the company or organization.
