Abstract

This text addresses the need for an investigation into the metaphors we use when we design, interpret and reflect on contemporary cities and their future. Based on a series of concrete experiences where a set of conceptual metaphors have been proposed as powerful constructive tools, this paper opens up a wide reframing of the future city and metropolitan project and the construction of its narrative.
