Abstract

This article presents the design of a Assistive Technology device for a student with Cerebral Palsy. The student does not have oral communication and use an accessibility sensor composed of an eye control unit and an Alternative and Increasing Communication program (AIC). As this resource must be used by the user, it was necessary to design a support that enabled the transportation of a notebook with the eyepiece control device, and in addition, had resistance to involuntary movements of the student. In this way, the project management is used to guide on the planning, specification of problems and Assistive Technology device design. At the end the product is presented. …
