Abstract

Infective endocarditis is a serious complication of intravenous drug abuse and typically affects right side heart valves. This case highlights aortic valve endocarditis in a 46 year old man with Methicilline Resistant Staph Aureus (MSSA) bacteremia in the context of IV drug use.
