Mathematical Description and Optimization for the Generalized Standard Model of SD Systems with Delay

Computer-Controlled Systems with Delay

Abstract

This chapter examines the generalized standard model (GSM) of a system with delay in which, unlike the standard model (SM), different components \(z_i(t)\) of the output vector \(\bar{z}(t)\) can have different time shifts \(\tau _i\) to the input vector x(t) and to the control vector u(t). It is shown that the solution of the \(\mathscr {H}_2\) optimization problem for the GSM can be reduced to solving an analog problem for the SM to which the results of Chaps. 79 could be applied.
