Abstract
The research objective in article consists in studying state of the economy of Russia, including the real sector, in the conditions of new digital economy. Research problems consist in assessment of structural shifts in the world economy of the XXI century and their influence on institutional structure of economy. In article key features of the current stage of scientific and technical progress are analyzed and revealed together with its influence on global and the Russian economy. The specifics of business functioning in the conditions of digital economy are defined.
