Abstract
The article is on the topic of the hour—the development and introduction of digital technologies into economic practice. The main place is given to the transformation of money, the emergence of crypto-currencies and technologies used for their creation—blockchain and their impact on the development of the economy. Among the proposed measures, based on the study of the practice of using digital technologies and the changes in government regulation that led to using digital technologies for public and financial services for citizens, the authors justify the need for liberalization of legislation in the field of digital technologies development.
