Abstract
Butler offers a candid and down-to-earth look at the necessity of maintaining a sustainable work-life balance as a teacher in order to achieve maximum productivity and emotional stability. Drawing from experience as a former high school teacher and current college professor, Butler explores the ways in which a balanced and vital life beyond the classroom provides a crucial source of energy required of all teachers.
