Abstract
Puchezh-Katunkii is a complex impact structure mostly buried about 400 km east of Moscow under about 450 m of middle Jurassic claystone of Crater Lake deposits. Breccia outcrops can be seen only at the western part of the structure where the Volga River cuts its covering.
