Abstract
The Chukcha depression is a round basin of about 6 km in diameter, with step (6°–9°) slopes, flat bottom and central mount of about 1 km in diameter and 30 m high. The visible depth of the depression is up to 200–220 m, reaching 300–320 m not counting the filling sediment of 100 m in thickness.
