Résumé

L’époque actuelle promeut la normalisation des pratiques médicales, sur des bases scientifiquement étayées. Cette normalisation est justifiée par une recherche accrue d’efficacité et de sécurité. Dans ce contexte, les déviances apparaissent plus clairement et sont moins volontiers acceptées. En témoigne une littérature médicale foisonnante sur le sujet, depuis la fin des années 1990.
