Abstract
A 67-year-old man with a history of syncope, an ischemic cardiomyopathy, and an ejection fraction of 25–30% is referred for electrophysiologic evaluation. Nonsustained VT is seen on telemetry after admission. The patient underwent electrophysiology studies and received a dual chamber Guidant Ventak PrizmTM DR HE ICD for inducible, sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia.
