Abstract
Androgen deficiency can present in a variety of ways. It is important for the clinician to be familiar with the many manifestations of hypogonadism. The clinical diagnosis can be challenging, even with a properly performed history and physical examination. Pathologic presentations can be effectively classified by the body system in which they originate. A patient’s age can also change the particular constellation of androgen deficiency symptoms. This chapter reviews common clinical presentations of androgen deficiency in both of these contexts.
