Abstract

Hypoglossia-hypodactylia syndrome is an extremely rare condition characterized by a small tongue associated with distal limb deficiency. The syndrome is also called aglossia-adactylia syndrome, which is a misnomer since the tongue is never completely absent and the term “adactylia” does not convey the variation in limb defects of affected individuals.
