Abstract
The chapter provides information on the evaluation and management of vaginal and vulvar cysts. Embryology of the urogenital tract is reviewed with special attention directed at the creation of the lower reproductive tract. Basic anatomy and histologic features of the vagina and vulva are described. A differential diagnosis of the various vaginal and vulvar cysts is explored. Evaluation and management for each type of cyst is discussed and surgical techniques for cyst treatments are detailed.
