Abstract
The usage of workspace operations are applicable to the current workspace instance which has been instantiated by the client. Workspace operations such as applyEdit and executeCommand are initiated by the server to be reflected on the workspace, while notifications such as didChangeConfigurations and didChangeWatchedFiles are initiated by the client. The given language server implementation can utilize these workspace operations to enhance the developer experience by injecting the ecosystem’s knowledge to the language services.
