Abstract

Spring is a set of projects that increase the productivity of enterprise application developers. There are many projects and modules in Spring, but you don’t have to master them all in order to take advantage of it. One of the key projects in Spring is the Spring Framework, a programming and configuration model for enterprise applications. We’ll be using Spring Framework and Spring Boot, a project that simplifies, among many other things, the creation of standalone applications with automatically configured libraries (such as JPA for connecting to SQL databases).
