Abstract
The study of changes occurring in minerals which may occur in the rocks of geological repositories for radioactive wastes is of current concern in many countries; such changes may be caused by ionizing radiation fields produced by the radioactive wastes. One way to study these changes is to subject the minerals to controlled exposures of Y-rays and electron beams.
