Invariant Frequency Ratios in Electron and Positron Geonium Spectra Yield Refined Data on Electron Structure

  • Chapter
Atomic Physics 7

Abstract

In this article I survey our work in geonium spectra at the University of Washington, carried out with my colleagues and collaborators, Robert Van Dyck, Jr., Paul Schwinberg, and Gerald Gabrielse, since its inception in 1976 up to the Summer of 1980 emphasizing a number of so far only briefly reported new developments. Also, I propose a new detection scheme for high-resolution geonium spectra which does not rely on a magnetic bottle.
