Part of the book series: Environmental Science Research ((ESRH,volume 12))

Abstract

Pentachlorophenol (PCP) and its salts are widely used as biocides in the United States of America. Although the principal use of PCP is for wood preservation, the versatility of this compound can be seen by the great diversity of uses.
