Abstract

Polarized neutron experiments have been performed on NdAl2 and CeAl2 compound to obtain accurate measures of form factors. From the contribution corresponding only to the 4f electrons it was possible to refine the wave function of the ground state of the rare earth ion in the crystal and molecular fields.
