Abstract
The data from 380 consecutive patients from 1990 to 1995 have been reanalysed. Tumour identity were distributed, as follows, according to the WHO-Classification (MOSTOFI & SOBIN): 169 Seminoma and 211 Non-seminomatous germ cell tumours (67 Embryonal-Carcinoma, 41 Terato-Carcinoma, 3 Chorion-Carcinoma, 3 Yolk-Sac-Tumours, 55 Mixed Tumours with Chorion-Ca., 42 Mixed Tumours with Seminoma). Testicular tissue of all these patients had been examined using the semithin sectioning technique.
