Abstract
SLIMCAT is a three-dimensional off-line chemical transport model used to investigate stratospheric processes. The model has been parallelised using MPI and tested on a Cray T3D and a Hitachi SR2201. The parallelisation strategy is discussed and the resulting performance statistics on the two machines are compared.
