Abstract
Traditional Chinese Medicine has been used in China for thousands of years. Hubei province is the hometown of Li Shizheng, the “king of medicine” in ancient China. Now, the Tianfa group of Hubei is actively developing Chinese Medicine. The Tianfa Co. Ltd. is very honored to have had the chance to jointly hold the first International Chinese Medicine Meeting at the University of Maryland (UMD) with the Institute for Global Chinese Affairs (IGCA), UMD, the China Science and Technology Administration, and others. The Tianfa Co. Ltd and its sub institutes are grateful that these organizations came together to discuss Chinese Medicine. Mr. Ma Chengling, the leader of our delegation, has already provided an introduction to the resources and prospects of Chinese Herbal Medicine in Hubei. This paper continues to explain one of the most important companies involved in the development of Chinese Medicine, Tianfa Co. Ltd., which includes the Tianfa Company and the Huoli28 Company. Tianfa Co. Ltd., currently in a time of growth and change, seeks international cooperation in the Hubei Chinese Medicine industry.
