Abstract
At this time pottery technology quickly became widespread, and agriculture was entrenched in the economy of most sites, with a mixed farming strategy that included domesticated cereals, pulses, sheep, goats, cattle, and pigs. Lithic technology often shifted to an emphasis on expedient reduction of amorphous cores to produce mainly simple flake tools, but bifaces and sickle blades were also important.
