Competencies in Sleep Medicine

Abstract

The content domains represent the clinical disorders of respiratory control and discussions of the presentations relevant to sleep medicine practice. Some of the areas like epidemiology are solely knowledge-based, amenable to testing factual proficiency through standardized testing, exercises in matching, or structured essay answers. As this group of disorders is highly prevalent and consumes a major part of practice, the reader is directed towards textbooks and chapter reviews elsewhere.
