Abstract

Patient was identified in the preoperative holding area where marking of the extremity was performed. An IV was started. He was brought to the Operating Room and positioned supine on the operative table. General anesthetic was induced. IV antibiotics were given. A tourniquet was placed on the thigh. The left lower extremity was prepped and draped in the standard fashion.
