Abstract

In this short note, we show by simple examples that differential equations of fractional orders generalize the ones of integer orders. We present a variation of constants formula which we obtained recently with C. Lizama and use it to prove the existence of solutions to some Cauchy problem with nonlocal conditions. This latter generalizes some of our recent results.
