Abstract
The problem of repeated early pregnancy wastage as a cause of infertility has long been recognized, and, in general, is adequately discussed in standard textbooks of gynecology. While sequential abortion is a rare cause ofinfertility, those couples who do have this problem often present as very anxious and frustrated people who deserve a reasonable assessment based on current knowledge and opinion. Thus, a brief discussion of sequential abortion is an appropriate inclusion in a general consideration of infertility.
