Abstract

In the previous chapter, we have given a rather complete discussion of the behavior of solutions near a periodic orbit or a homoclinic orbit of a two dimensional autonomous system subjected to an autonomous perturbation. In this case, new periodic orbits could occur or old periodic orbits could disappear at bifurcation points.
