Abstract
Uric acid lithiasis refers to conditions leading to the formation of uric acid stones, whether kidney stones or bladder stones of various crystalline structures. Furthermore it refers to both pure uric acid or urate stones and mixed stones containing additional components, in the latter case only when aetiology for uric acid lithiasis is present or surmised.
