Abstract
Hemoptysis is common in patients with pulmonary aspergilloma. Opinions vary as to its management. The underlying disease, the severity and frequency of hemoptysis, and the immune status of the patient have been proposed as factors to influence therapy. Unlike invasive aspergillosis, the behavior of cavitary disease in the immunocompromised host has not been fully described. This report describes a pulmonary aspergilloma in a patient with AIDS-related complex (ARC).
