Abstract
A process model is a device borrowed from basic science where it is often used to describe the form, matter and motion of phenomena in a flow-of-events style (e.g., Bohr’s model of the atom, Crick and Watson’s model of the DNA molecule). In an organizational context, a process model would describe how things are decided and done by people and groups.
