Abstract
This talk reports the status of a proposal to study the nucleon instability using a very fine grain detector placed in an underground laboratory in the Fréjus tunnel. This proposal has been submitted last October by the groups of Orsay, Ecole Polytechnique and Saclay [1]; some other groups intend to join this collaboration in the near future.
