Abstract
In this chapter life satisfaction and happiness are explained by MDT for the global sample as a whole (Section 6.2), males and females (6.3), and then for 38 countries (6.4). In Section 6.5, I examine my theory’s prediction success ratios. Finally, I present results of applications of MDT to a sample of eight countries for which data were available on social support and self-esteem.
