Abstract
Use literature material method, experimental method and mathematical statistics and other research methods and use reactive determination instrument to carry out test comparison between the simple reaction and the choice reaction of 10 high performance basketball players and 10 ordinary basketball players in College of Physical Education in Linyi University. The results have shown that there are significant differences in selective reaction between the high performance basketball players and ordinary basketball players. At the same time, there are no significant differences on the simple reaction between the high performance basketball players and ordinary basketball players. In addition to these, the effect increases with the increase of the complexity degree. Reaction time is an important indicator to make researches into the athletes’ psychological characteristics. The research results carried out on 10 high performance basketball players and 10 ordinary basketball players in College of Physical Education in Linyi University have shown that there are obvious significant differences in selective reaction between the high performance basketball players and ordinary basketball players. At the same time, there are no obvious significant differences on the simple reaction between the high performance basketball players and ordinary basketball players.
