Abstract
Therapy for the relief of dyspnea in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is primarily aimed at reducing reversible airflow obstruction with bronchodilator drugs, preventing or promptly treating infections and correcting hypoxemia through the use of oxygen where appropriate. Exercise training has the potential to improve exercise endurance and reduce exertional dyspnea.1
