Abstract

The main function of a PDN is to enable communication for computers: computer-to-computer telecommunication and terminal-to-computer telecommunication. The general term communication stands for a process in which two or more parties are involved with the purpose of raising the level of knowledge of at least one of them. Information is considered to be the difference in knowledge before and after communication. In communication we can always identify the originator of the information represented by the information source, the direction of information transfer, and the receiver of the information represented by the information sink.
