A Concept for Revitalisation of Product Development

  • Chapter
Concurrent Simultaneous Engineering Systems

Abstract

The general objective of chapter two is to provide a theoretical background to the method known as Concurrent Simultaneous Engineering (CSE). The first section describes the current common tendencies which provide the framework for the development of CSE. The following deals with the strategies and areas in a company using CSE. The last section is dedicated to a practical guideline for implementing CSE.
